Description

This easy dessert pizza starts with a store bought sugar cookie roll as the base. It's then topped with all kinds of goodies like a homemade frosting, fresh strawberries, Nutella and almonds. Yum!

Ingredients

• 1 lb. sugar cookie roll
• 4 oz. cream cheese, at room temperature
• 2 c. powdered sugar
• 1 t. vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste
• 1 pint strawberries, diced
• zest of 1 lemon
• 1/3 c. Nutella, warmed
• slivered almonds

Steps

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Lay a non-stick baking sheet on the surface of a half sheet pan (13"x18") or a 2/3 sized one (15"x 21").
3. Flatten the cookie dough into a 12" dough circle. Using a pastry mat helps make this process easy. Place the cookie dough on the lined baking sheet.
