Description
This appetizer dip gets its name from the diverse ingredients used in the recipe. The refried beans, cream cheese, sour cream, two different cheeses and spices topped with diced tomatoes and green onions make it a flavorful crowd pleaser for any gathering
Ingredients
- 8 oz. package cream cheese, softened
- 1 c. sour cream
- 16 oz. can refried beans
- 1 oz. packet taco seasoning mix
- 2 c. shredded Mexican blend cheese, divided
- 1 c. shredded Pepper Jack cheese
- 4 oz. can diced green chilies, drained
- sliced green onions, diced tomatoes, chopped cilantro, jalapeño slices, optional toppings
- tortilla chips, for serving
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease an 8x8" baking dish or baking dish of similar size.
- In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, refried beans, taco seasoning, Pepper Jack cheese and 1 c. Mexican blend cheese. Mix in the diced green chilies until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
