Tired of boring vegetable side dishes? Try this simple and delicious roasted broccoli and you'll never say it's boring. You might even convert broccoli haters into broccoli lovers.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. broccoli florets, from 1 large head of broccoli
- 3 T. olive oil
- 2 t. garlic powder, or garlic granules
- 2 T. Parmesan cheese from a jar
- 2 T. bread crumbs
- 1/2 t. Kosher salt
- 1/4 t. black pepper
- 3 T. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- pinch crushed red pepper flakes, optional
Steps
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Drizzle 1 T. olive oil on a rimmed baking sheet.
- Spread broccoli florets in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle on canned Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, bread crumbs, salt, pepper and remaining 2 T. olive oil; toss to coat. Sprinkle on freshly grated Parmesan cheese and crushed red pepper flakes.
- Roast in the oven until golden and tender, about 15 minutes. Remove from the oven.
