Take that store bought brownie mix to a new level with this delicious, easy to make recipe. Bake the brownies as directed on the box, add a strawberry cream frosting and garnish with a fudge drizzle that makes them even more yummy.

Ingredients

• Brownies:
• favorite store bought brownie mix for a 9x13" pan
• Strawberry Cream Cheese Frosting:
• 1/4 c. finely chopped fresh strawberries
• 8 oz. block cream cheese, softened
• 1/2 c. butter, softened
• 3 - 4 c. powdered sugar
• 1-2 drops red food coloring, optional
• Fudge Drizzle: (optional)
• 3 T. butter, melted
• 3 T. cocoa powder
• 1 T. corn syrup or honey
• 1/2 c. powdered sugar
• 1-2 T. milk or cream

Steps

1. Brownies: Make the brownies following directions on the box for a 9x13" baking pan; let cool completely.
2. Frosting: In a large bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and butter until fluffy. Add the strawberries and 3 c. powdered sugar; beat together slowly. Add just enough of the remaining powdered sugar to form a spreadable consistency. Evenly spread over the cooled brownies.
3. Fudge Drizzle: Add the melted butter, cocoa powder, corn syrup or honey, powdered sugar and milk or cream to a microwave safe bowl; stir. Microwave for about 20 seconds; stir.
