Description
This special dessert will be a huge hit for any occasion. It's rich and indulgent with chocolate and pecans and is an alcohol free version of the classic recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 unbaked 9-inch deep-dish pie crust, homemade or store-bought
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 c. packed light brown sugar
- 1/4 c. granulated sugar
- 1/4 c. unsalted butter, melted
- 3 large eggs
- 2 T. milk
- 1 t. vanilla extract
- 1/4 t. salt
- 1 1/2 c. pecan halves
- 3/4 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Place the unbaked pie crust into a 9" pie plate; crimp the edges as desired. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the corn syrup, light brown sugar, granulated sugar, melted butter, eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth and well combined.
