Description

A popular pie made into easy and delicious dessert bars you can enjoy all year around! Makes 40 bars.

Ingredients

• 3 cups flour
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1 cup unsalted butter
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 4 large eggs
• 1 1/2 cups corn syrup (light)
• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 3 tablespoons butter or margarine (melted)
• 2 1/2 cups pecans (coarsely chopped)

Steps

1. Heat oven to 350 F (175 C). Prepare one, greased, 10 x 15″ baking pan or dish.
2. Mix together the flour, half cup white sugar, butter and the salt in a bowl, stir until crumbly. Then, shape into bottom of prepared pan to form a crust.
3. Bake the crust in preheated oven for about 15 to 20 mins.
