Salted Caramel Pumpkin Seeds

It's that time of year when people love to snack on pumpkin seeds. But really, they are great all year round. In about 11 minutes, you can have this delicious snack made with dry roasted pumpkin seeds, caramel sauce and a bit of sea salt flakes.

Ingredients

14 oz. dry roasted pumpkin seeds
3/4 c. caramel sauce
1 t. sea salt flakes

Preheat the oven to 350 F degrees. Grease a large cookie sheet. Do not use parchment paper.

Spread pumpkin seeds evenly on the cookie sheet.
Pour the caramel sauce evenly over the pumpkin seeds. If the caramel is too thick, microwave it for about 10 seconds to thin it out and make it easier to pour.
Top with sea salt flakes.

Bake for about 8 minutes. The caramel sauce will start to bubble.

Let cool completely before breaking it into bite size pieces.

8 servings.

*If using fresh pumpkin seeds, rinse them off to get rid of any stringy parts of pumpkin still attached to the seed. Lay the seeds out on a paper towel to dry and then follow the remaining directions.
