Ingredients
- 2/3 cup toasted slivered almonds
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 4 egg yolks
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup key lime juice
- 3/4 cup cold heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon grated lime zest
Steps
- 1. Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- 2. Pulse the almonds in a food processor until finely ground. Combine the almonds with the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and salt. Pour in the melted butter and mix until evenly moistened. Press into a 9-inch pie plate.
- 3. Bake the crust in the preheated oven until golden brown, 10 to 13 minutes.
