Description

A dangerously dessert that is so good you will have to hide it if you want some for yourself! This winning cake has layers of bananas and coconut with a brown sugar sauce in every bite.

Ingredients

• 1 yellow cake mix
• 3 eggs
• 1/4 cu. oil
• 1/2 cu. sour cream
• 1/2 cu.water
• 6 bananas, sliced 1/4 inch thick
• 1 1/2 cu. shredded coconut
• 1 cu. brown sugar, packed
• 1/2 cu. butter, divided
• 2 tbl. lemon juice

Steps

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees; grease 2 (8 inch) round cake pans.
2. Beat cake mix, eggs, oil, water, and sour cream on low until combined then on high for 2 minutes.
3. Place banana slices evenly on the bottom of the two cake pans.
