Spray wooden skewers with cooking spray before piercing marshmallows. This will allow the marshmallows to easily be removed from the skewers.

Pierce marshmallows and roast over an open fire. Allow marshmallows to get toasty, but not burned.Hold marshmallow near, but not inside or directly over the fire.

Remove (carefully) the roasted marshmallow and place marshmallow on baking sheet that was covered with parchment paper. Allow ample cool time before proceeding to next step. Roasted marshmallows should harden and be cool to the touch.

Scoop the top out of the roasted and cooled marshmallow. Remove approximately ½ of the inside of the marshmallow using your melon ball scooper. Don't remove more than ½ of the marshmallow’s insides as you will need enough marshmallow to support the Kahlua.

Pour Kahlua directly into the marshmallow pocket you carved. Fill ¾ of the way, taking care not to overfill.

Place in refrigerator (or even the freezer) to allow the treat to set. Remove at least 30 minutes before serving.
