This butter is good enough to eat all on its own, but don't do that. Save it for your favorite bread, waffles or pancakes.
1 stick unsalted butter, room temperature
1/4 cup honey
1 tablespoon vanilla bean paste, 1/2 vanilla bean, scraped or 1/2 t. vanilla extract
pinch salt
Combine ingredients in a medium bowl. Whip using an electric mixer for 3-4 minutes or until light and fluffy.
Transfer to a jar or a serving dish. Serve.
Cover and refrigerate unused butter, then bring to room temperature when serving.
