Description
These homemade biscuits are to die for! They are flaky, light and moist. You might need to make 2 batches to make sure that you don't run out!
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 heaping T. sugar
- 4 t. baking powder
- 1/2 t. salt
- 3/4 c. mashed cooked sweet potatoes
- 1/4 c. softened butter
- 2 to 4 T milk (depends on moisture of the potatoes)
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. Grease a baking pan.
- Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
- In a separate, large bowl, mix sweet potatoes and butter. Add the flour mixture to the potato mixture and mix to make a soft dough. Then add milk a tablespoon at a time to mixture and continue to cut in.
