Description
An Italian salad the St. Louis way!
Ingredients
- 1 jar pimentos
- 1 jar marinated artichoke hearts
- 1 red onion, cut in rings
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
- 3/4 c. olive oil
- 1/4-1/2 c. red wine vinegar
- 1 -2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1/2 t. Accent
- 2 bags Romaine lettuce
- 1 bag iceberg lettuce
Steps
- Dressing: Mix the Parmesan cheese, oil, vinegar, garlic, salt, pepper, Accent, artichoke hearts and pimentos together in a large bowl. Add red onion rings and stir. Marinate 3 hours.
- Wash lettuces and dry then pour dressing over the top. Mix and top with extra Parmesan cheese. Provel rope cheese on top would be a delicious addition on top!
