Description
No baking required with the delicious pumpkin dessert. Just buy the pumpkin bread at the market and assemble the trifle in layers. What could be simpler? Make this is a trifle bowl or individual tall glasses.
Ingredients
- 2 loaves pumpkin bread (store bought or from a quick-bread mix)
- 1 c. toffee bits
- 1 c. granola
- 2 c. heavy cream
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1–1/2 t. cinnamon
- 1/2 t. vanilla
- 1/2 t. maple extract
Steps
- Cut the pumpkin bread into 1 inch cubes.
- Mix the toffee bits and the granola in a small bowl; set aside.
- Beat the heavy cream with an electric mixer. Gradually add the sugar and continue mixing until stiff peaks form. Fold in the cinnamon, vanilla, and maple extract.
