Salted Caramel Pretzel BarkRecipe preview on Faxo
Recipe

Description
This is a dangerously good treat for anyone who loves a mix of sweet and salty. The salty pretzels topped with butter, brown sugar and chocolate then topped with extra salt will make you a big fan!
Ingredients
- 2 sticks butter
- 1 c. light brown sugar
- 1 regular size bag pretzels (use about 3/4 of the bag)
- 12 oz. bag chocolate chips
- sea salt
Steps
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Line a large pan with parchment paper, cover with pretzels.
- In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium-low heat. When it begins to bubble, add the brown sugar, stirring occasionally. Let butter/sugar mixture meld together and brown, about 3 minutes. DO NOT let it boil, or you will have sticky mess that is no good. When it is a nice, brown caramel, pour it over the pretzels, slowly and evenly. Then use a spatula to spread it out, working quickly and gently. It hardens fast, so even pouring is the best method.
