Description
This easy meal is made by just throwing ingredients in the crockpot and then forget about it. The family will love it because it is so delicious and you will love it because it is so simple. Serve with a salad and you have a complete meal.
Ingredients
- 4-5 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cans condensed cream of chicken soup
- 2-14 oz. cans chicken broth
- 2 T. butter
- 1/2-3/4 onion. chopped
- 1 c. frozen pees
- 1 c. carrots, fresh, frozen or canned
- 1 c. frozen corn
- 1 c. celery
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 pkg. canned biscuits
Steps
- Line a crockpot with a crockpot liner for easy clean up. Spray liner with non-stick cooking spray.
- Place all ingredients in the crockpot except for the biscuits. Cook on High for 5 hours.
- Shred chicken when done. The last hour, cut the biscuits into fourths and place them in with the rest of the ingredients. Allow the biscuits to cook thoroughly (about 50 minutes). After biscuits are done, stir the biscuits in so they incorporate with everything else. Remove bay leaf.
