Description
This delicious casserole is very versatile. It can be eaten as is, served on top of or on the side of pasta, or in a meatball sub sandwich.
Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground turkey or lean ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. plain bread crumbs
- 1 T. Italian Seasoning
- 3 T. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 t. garlic powder
- 1/2 t. kosher salt
- 6 cranks freshly ground black pepper
- Casserole:
- 1 - 24 oz. jar spaghetti sauce
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese, shredded
- 1 c. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- Optional: your favorite pasta, cooked or rolls for a sub sandwich
Steps
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Meatballs:
- In a large bowl, mix together meatball ingredients until combined evenly. Roll into 40 one and one half inch balls. Space evenly on greased baking sheet.
