Turn your regular popcorn into a treat with just a few ingredients that you probably already have on-hand. Make your at-home movie night special with this 5 minute caramel corn that you made yourself.
8 c. popped corn, not air popped
¼ c. butter
½ c. brown sugar
¼ c. honey
¼ t. baking soda
Place already popped popcorn in a large bowl.
Place butter, brown sugar, and honey in a medium saucepan. Melt over medium-high heat. Once melted, cook for about 3 minutes stirring continuously. Add in baking soda. Cook 1 more minute.
Pour sauce over popcorn, then stir gently until well-combined.
Spoon onto parchment paper and allow to cool.
Store in an airtight container.
