This is yummy and easy to make. It calls for a golden syrup that can be found in specialty stores, health food stores or just make your own.
4oz. unsalted butter
8oz. plain chocolate, broken into pieces
2 T. Lyle's golden syrup (or light corn syrup and molasses in a 2 to 1 ratio)
4 oz. Whoppers, chocolate-flavor coated malted milk balls
4 oz. mixed milk and white chocolate chips
4 oz. mini marshmallows
8 oz. Ginger Snaps, broken into pieces
2 oz. nuts of your choice, optional
Line an 8 inch square cake pan with parchment paper.
In a small pan, heat butter, plain chocolate and golden syrup and stir together with a wooden spoon. Once melted together, let cool for 10 minutes.
In a large bowl, place the Whoppers, milk and white chocolate chips, mini- marshmallows, nuts, Ginger Snaps and mix together with the melted chocolate sauce.
Pour into the lined pan and let set in the refrigerator for a minimum of 2 hours.
Lift it from cake pan by grabbing the parchment paper and slice into 16 snack-sized bars.
Dust with icing sugar to serve.
