Description
These toasts are great to serve with a salad, any soup or just alone as an appetizer.
Ingredients
- ¼ c. olive oil
- 2 gloves of garlic, minced
- ½ baguette, thinly sliced , about 20 slices
- freshly ground black pepper
- Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, grated
Steps
- Preheat oven to 390-400 degrees.
- Using a blender, food processor or immersion blender, blend the oil and garlic until smooth. You will still have tiny bits of garlic in the mixture.
- Slice baguette into thin slices and place them on a baking pan. Using a pastry brush, brush one side of the sliced baguette with the garlic oil and sprinkle with black pepper.
