This dish is so simple and delicious as well. It is made with frozen meatballs, jarred spaghetti sauce and canned biscuits all mixed together with your favorite cheeses. If you aren't crazy about bell peppers, substitute canned mushrooms.
1 can Pillsbury Grands Biscuits
16 oz. bag frozen meatballs
1 green or red bell pepper, diced and sauteed
1 small onion, diced and sauteed
3 c. spaghetti sauce
2 c. shredded mozzarella, Parmesan or your favorite Italian style cheese
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Saute veggies.
Cut the uncooked biscuits into eighths.
Place into a greased 9×13 dish. Cover with sauce, start with 1½ cups, add more if needed. Place the meatballs and sauteed veggies on top of the biscuits.
Sprinkle with the cheese. Bake for 30-40 minutes.
Garnish with grated or shredded Parmesan cheese, if desired.
