Description
This delicious appetizer is so decadent, you will have trouble leaving some for other people. Be sure to make enough for everyone to splurge a little so that you don't disappoint!
Ingredients
- 1/3 c. mayonnaise or Miracle Whip
- 3 T. Italian seasoned dry bread crumbs or plain bread crumbs with Italian seasonings added
- 3 T. grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 T. fresh parsley
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- freshly ground black pepper
- 6 1/2 oz. can crabmeat or 1 c. frozen crabmeat, thawed
- 18 medium to large mushrooms, wiped clean and stems removed
Steps
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- In a small bowl, blend mayo, bread crumbs, parsley, cheese and garlic; fold in crabmeat. Evenly spoon mixture into mushroom caps. Sprinkle with pepper.
- On a greased baking sheet, arrange mushroom caps. Bake 20 minutes or until heated through and lightly browned.
