Serve this delicious dessert warm with whipped topping or ice cream. Mmmm, good. It's also good for breakfast or brunch!
8 c. strawberries, washed, hulled, and sliced
1/2 c. granulated sugar
2 T. flour
topping:
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. butter or margarine
1 c. finely ground almonds
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
In a bowl, gently toss strawberries with granulated sugar, and flour. Pour strawberry mixture into prepared baking dish.
In a medium bowl, stir together flour, brown sugar, ground almonds and butter until crumbs form. Distribute crumb topping evenly over strawberries.
Bake for 45 minutes, until golden brown.
