Description
Fresh asparagus, roasted in olive oil and topped with garlic and Parmesan cheese is the best! Make it in your oven, indoor grill or the BBQ grill.
Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh asparagus
- 10 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 T. olive oil
- salt, to taste
- freshly ground pepper, to taste
- 1/4- 1/2 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Steps
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. (or a BBQ grill or an indoor grilll)
- Heat oil and garlic in a small saucepan over low heat until garlic for a few minutes until it becomes golden, but not burned; allow oil to cool.
- Bend asparagus gently at a natural point toward the bottom end, and when it snaps, discard end pieces.
