Make a healthy snack that you and the kids will love. These chips are delicious and easy to make.
2 washed apples, Honeycrisp, Granny Smith or Pink Lady are good
1 t. cinnamon
sprinkles of granulated sugar, if desired
Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Use a sharp knife or mandolin to slice the apples thinly. Discard the seeds.
Arrange the apple slices on the baking sheet without overlapping the pieces. Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar, if using, over the apples.
Bake for about 1 hour, then flip the slices over.
Bake for 1-2 hours, flipping occasionally, until the apple slices are no longer moist.
Store in an airtight container or ziploc bag.
