Make your own danish with this wonderfully easy and delicious recipe. Your family will ask for it over and over again.
2 cans ready-to-use refrigerated crescent rolls
2- 8 oz. packages cream cheese
1 c. sugar
1 t. vanilla extract
1 egg
1 egg white
Glaze:
1/2 c.) powdered sugar
2 T.) milk
1/2 t. vanilla
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 13 X 9 inch baking pan.
Lay one package of crescent rolls in the pan; pinch the sides together.
Beat cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and egg together until smooth.
Spread above mixture over the crescent rolls evenly; lay the second pack of crescent rolls on top of the cheese mixture; brush with egg white.
Bake for 35-45 minutes until the top is golden brown. Cool for 20 minutes, then top with the glaze.
Make glaze by mixing the last 3 ingredients.
