Drop Cheddar Garlic Biscuits

Description

These delicious biscuits are very much like those famous biscuits that you get in restaurants. Now you can enjoy them anytime without leaving your home.

Ingredients

2 c. all-purpose flour
1 T. baking powder
2 t. sugar
1⁄4 t. salt
3⁄4 c. melted butter or margarine
1 c. milk
1⁄2-1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1⁄2-1 t. garlic salt, or to taste

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Grease a cookie sheet.

Combine flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Stir in milk and 1/2 cup butter just until moistened. Add cheddar cheese.

Drop batter by tablespoons on prepared cookie sheet. Bake biscuits 6 minutes.

While biscuits are baking, add garlic salt to the remaining melted butter.

Remove biscuits, drizzle with the garlic butter; return biscuits to the oven for 6-7 minutes, or until the edges are golden.

Remove biscuits from the oven and while still warm drizzle with more garlic butter.
