Not only will your family or guests drool when they see these S'more bars, but you will as well as you are making them. You can enjoy them any time now, not just when you are sitting around a campfire.
1/2 c. butter, at room temperature
1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 large egg
1- 1 1/2 t. vanilla extract
1 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. graham cracker crumbs
1 t. baking powder
1/4 t. salt
2 king-sized Hershey's milk chocolate bars
1 1/2 c. marshmallow creme or fluff
Preheat oven to 350. Spray an 8 inch square baking pan with non-stick cooking spray.
In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light; beat in egg and vanilla.
In a small bowl, whisk together flour, graham cracker crumbs, baking powder and salt. Add to butter mixture; mix at a low speed until combined.
Divide dough in half; press half of dough into an even layer on the bottom of the prepared pan.
Place chocolate bars side by side over dough, breaking the chocolate, if necessary to fit in a single layer no more than 1/4 inch thick.
Spread marshmallow creme or fluff over the chocolate.
Place remaining dough in a single layer on top of the fluff. Make little disks with the dough and form them into a sheet on some parchment paper then transfer it over. Spread it around gently. ( You can also roll the top dough layer in between two sheets of plastic wrap until it's in a square then place it on top.)
Bake 30 - 35 minutes, until lightly browned. Cool completely before cutting into bars.
Cut into 16 bars.
