Description
Homemade ranch dressing tastes so much better and is healthier for you than the store-bought dressings. Just use quality ingredients for the freshest and the best taste. Use as a salad dressing, dip or even in potato salad.
Ingredients
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1/4 c. mayonnaise
- 3 T. sour cream
- 1 t. finely chopped fresh tarragon, dill, or celery leaves or a combination
- 3 T. finely chopped Italian parsley
- 2 T. finely chopped chives
- 4 t. white wine vinegar or lemon juice
- 1-2 medium garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1/2 t. salt, plus more if needed
- 1/8 t. freshly ground black pepper, plus more if needed
Steps
- Shake the buttermilk well.
- Place all ingredients in a 2 cup jar or container with a tight fitting lid. Seal lid tightly; shake to mix all ingredients.
- Taste and season with additional salt and pepper as needed.
