Combine the flavors of chocolate and peanut butter with a gooey butter cake and you will have everyone loving you forever!
Ingredients
- 1 German Chocolate or chocolate cake mix
- ½ c. butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 2nd layer:
- 8 peanut butter cups, large ones
- 3 small Butterfinger candy bars
- cream cheese layer:
- 8 oz. package cream cheese, softened
- 1 c. peanut butter
- 3 eggs
- 1 t. vanilla
- ½ c. butter, melted
- 4 c. powdered sugar
- chocolate topping:
- ½ c. chocolate chips
- 1 T. canola oil
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees or 325 degrees if using glass. Spray a 9x12 pan with non-stick cooking spray.
- Combine cake mix, egg and butter together; beat until combined. Put the cake mix layer on the bottom of the prepared pan; pat it down.
- Cut the large peanut butter cups into 4 pieces each. Roughly chop the Butterfingers. Spread evenly over the cake layer.
