Description
These savory crackers make a great appetizer or in soups and salads, as well. If you can't find mini-saltines, use oyster crackers or regular saltines instead.
Ingredients
- 1 t. garlic powder
- 1 t. onion powder
- ½ t. dried dill
- 1 t. dried parsley
- ¼ t. dried thyme
- ¼ t. dried basil
- ¼ t. salt
- 1 t. Dijon mustard
- 1 T. canola oil
- 11 oz. mini-saltines (oyster crackers could be used as well)
Steps
- Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
- Mix all ingredients together except for the crackers in a large bowl. Using your hands, fully coat the crackers with the oil and dried herbs.
- Transfer the mixture to a large baking sheet. Bake 20 minutes; remove the tray from the oven. Crackers will get crispier as they cool. Let them cool a little before serving.
