Description
Make this skillet chicken dish and have in on your table in less than 30 minutes, start to finish. Serve over your favorite pasta or with mashed potatoes.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 T. vegetable or olive oil
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1/4 t. freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 t. Italian seasoning, optional
- 2 T. Italian dressing
- 1 c. Alfredo pasta sauce
- chopped parsley, for garnish
Steps
- Wash chicken and pat dry with paper towels.
- Pound chicken breasts with smooth side down, gently between 2 pieces of plastic wrap, with flat side of meat mallet or rolling pin, until 1/2 inch thick.
- In a 12 inch skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken to skillet; sprinkle with Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Cook chicken 2 minutes on each side or until lightly browned.
