Sometimes it is just too hot to turn on the oven to make baked potatoes. It's easy to make one or two in the microwave, but when you are making more than that, it's better to make them in the crock pot, where they can also stay warm.
10 -12 small baking potatoes or 5-6 large potatoes
olive oil
Wash the potatoes; rub them with olive oil and then pierce with fork. Wrap each potato tightly in aluminum foil.
Fill crock pot with potatoes. Place the lid on the crock and cook small ones on High 2 1/2- 4 hours or large ones on Low for 8-10 hours.
Do not add water.
**Cooking time will depend on how big your potatoes are.
