Description
These treats are Filipino donuts that are twisted and then rolled in sugar. Enjoy them as a dessert, snack or for breakfast.
Ingredients
- 4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 t. salt
- 2 t. dry active yeast
- 1 c. lukewarm water
- 2 T. oil
- 1/4 c. white sugar
Steps
- Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water. Add sugar, salt, oil and 3 cups flour. Mix and knead until smooth.
- Use remaining flour during kneading.
- Form into a ball; let rise in a greased bowl for 1 hour. This process will double the size of the dough. Punch down; divide into 20 portions.
