Your family, but especially your children will love this quick and delicious casserole. Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
Ingredients
- 32 oz. frozen hash brown patties
- 1 onion, diced
- salt and pepper, to taste
- garlic powder, to taste, optional
- 1 lb. browned hamburger
- 15 oz. canned peas, drained or 10 oz. peas (frozen)
- 1 c. milk
- 10 3/4 oz. canned cream of mushroom soup
- 8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 2 7/8 oz. canned French-fried onions
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter a 9×13-inch pan.
- Cook hamburger and onion together; drain off grease and discard.
- Cover the bottom of the pan with the hash brown patties. Add hamburger and onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle peas on top.
