Description

There is no better pie than an old fashioned chocolate pie with a meringue on top. It easy and simple as well.

Ingredients

• 1 1/4 c. sugar
• 1/2 c. plain flour
• 1/4 c. cocoa
• dash salt
• 4 egg yolks
• 2 c. milk
• 1/4 c. butter
• 1 t. vanilla
• 1-9" pastry shell baked

Steps

1. Bake pie crust until golden.
2. Combine first 4 ingredients in a sauce pan; set aside.
3. Combine milk and egg yolks.
