Description
This bread will be special anytime but especially during holiday time. Serve warm with butter or toasted with butter.
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1-1/2 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. vegetable oil
- 1 t. vanilla extract
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 t. baking powder
- 2 t. ground cinnamon
- 1 t. baking soda
- 1 t. salt
- 4 c. finely chopped peeled ripe pears (about 4 medium)
- 1 t. lemon juice
- 1 c. chopped walnuts
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease two 9x5 inch loaf pans or six mini 5x3 loaf pans.
- In a bowl, combine eggs, sugar, oil and vanilla; mix well.
- Combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda and salt; stir into the egg mixture, just until moistened.
