Baked Potato Chip Chicken

Description

Your whole family will be fans of this chicken dish. It is covered in crushed potato chips with a little cheese and garlic powder.

Ingredients

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 c. crushed potato chips, your favorite style and brand
1⁄2 c. grated Parmesan cheese (from the plastic jar with the green lid)
1 T. garlic powder
3 T. butter or margarine

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Place potato chips, cheese, and garlic powder in a large, closed ziploc bag; crush the chips.

Melt butter in a shallow dish.

Wash chicken and pat dry with paper towels. Leave the breasts whole or cut the chicken breasts into strips if you want to do this as chicken fingers.

Moisten the chicken pieces in the butter, then seal them in the ziploc bag, and shake to coat with the potato chip mixture.

Remove chicken from the bag. Lay the chicken out on a foil lined baking sheet.

Bake 40 minutes for whole breasts, 30 minutes for strips. When finished baking, coat the cooked breasts in the leftover potato chip mixture before serving.
