This white chocolate dessert is simply Heavenly. It has layer after layer of sweet goodness. You can top with your favorite fresh fruit as an added treat, if desired.
1 package Golden Oreo cookies
6 T. unsalted butter, melted
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
½ c. butter or margarine
1 c. powdered sugar
16 oz. container whipped topping, divided
2 - 3.9 oz. packages of white chocolate or vanilla instant pudding
3 c. milk
white chocolate bar, shaved for garnish
Crush Oreos: for a very fine mixture, it is best to place Oreos in a food processor, but putting them in a bag and crushing them is good as well. Place in a ziploc bag; add melted butter. Mix until well combined.
Press into the bottom of a 9x13 pan, spreading out to cover the entire bottom of the pan.
In a medium bowl, blend cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar and ½ of the whipped topping. Blend well; pour over Oreo crust.
In a separate bowl, make pudding by adding milk to the bowl and the instant pudding. Whisk together until pudding thickens; pour over the cream cheese layer.
Refrigerate for at least 5 minutes.
Top off with the rest of the whipped topping; add white chocolate shavings.
Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving.
