Ingredients
1 - 2 layer size devil's food cake mix
1- 4 oz. pkg. semi-sweet baking chocolate
1/4 c. butter
1- 8 oz. pkg. brick type cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. sugar
2 c. thawed whipped topping
12 Oreo cookies, coarsely crushed
1 or 2 tubes 4.25 oz. white decorating icing

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Prepare cake batter and bake in two 9-inch round pans as directed on package, about 24-29 minutes. Cool cakes in pans 10 minutes. Invert onto wire racks; gently remove pans. Cool cakes completely.
Microwave chocolate and butter together in a medium microwaveable bowl on High 45 seconds to 1 minute or until butter is melted. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Cool 5 minutes.
In the meantime, beat cream cheese and sugar in a large bowl with mixer until well blended. Gently stir in whipped topping.
Place 1 cake layer on a plate; spread with the cream cheese mixture. Top with cookie crumbs and the remaining cake layer. Spread the top with the chocolate glaze; let stand 10 minutes or until firm.
Decorate with icing. Keep refrigerated. Serve.
