This dessert is beautiful and festive. It's really easy to make and will brighten up any meal.
2 c. Oreo cookie crumbs
1/4 c. butter, melted
2 T. sprinkles
cheesecake:
24 oz. cream cheese, at room temperature
1/2 c. sugar
1 t. vanilla
1/2 c. strawberry Nesquik powder mix or similar strawberry powder mix
1 T. milk
8 oz. container whipped topping or homemade whipped cream
additional whipped topping, for topping
sprinkles, for garnish
Combine cookie crumbs, melted butter and sprinkles. Press into the bottom and halfway up the sides of a 9 inch springform pan. Place in refrigerator till firm.
Mix cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, strawberry mix and milk together in a large bowl until smooth and well combined. Gently stir in whipped topping. Pour filling into crust and smooth.
Refrigerate about 5 hours or until firm.
When firm, remove cheesecake from springform pan; decorate with additional whipped topping and garnish with sprinkles.
Store in refrigerator until ready to serve.
Refrigerate any leftovers.
