Love hummus and autumn? Make this delicious pumpkin hummus dip and serve with your favorite dippers!
1 small garlic clove
15 oz. can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
15 oz. can pumpkin puree (1¾ c. pumpkin puree) (Not pumpkin pie filling)
½ t. kosher salt
1 t. ground cumin
juice from 1 lemon
1 T. olive oil
pinch cayenne, optional
Peel the garlic clove and put it in the bowl of a food processor. Process until finely chopped.
Add chickpeas, pumpkin puree (or less, if you like a thicker hummus), kosher salt, cumin, lemon juice and olive oil. Add cayenne, if desired.
Blend thoroughly to combine.
Serve.
