Who says that you can't have chocolate for breakfast? But you can have it for dessert or a snack as well.
cake:
1 German Chocolate cake mix
½ c. butter, melted
1 egg
2nd Layer:
8 Peanut Butter Cups, large ones
3 small Butterfinger candy bars
cream cheese Layer:
8 oz. package cream cheese, softened
1 c. peanut butter
3 eggs
1 t. vanilla
½ c. butter, melted
4 c. powdered sugar
chocolate topping:
½ c. chocolate chips
1 T. vegetable or canola oil
Preheat oven to 350 degrees, 325 degrees if using a glass pan. Spray a 9x12 inch pan with non-stick cooking spray.
Combine cake mix, egg and butter together. Beat until it is combined. Pour the cake mix layer on the bottom; pat it down.
Cut each peanut butter cup into 4 pieces; roughly chop the Butterfingers; spread evenly over the cake layer.
Combine cream cheese, vanilla and peanut butter together until combined. Add the eggs one at a time; mix in; add the butter. When all combined, add the powdered sugar. Spread evenly over the candy bar layer.
Bake about 50 minutes. If using a glass pan, it might take over an hour. It will be puffed up in the center and will jiggle just slightly when done. Remove from oven; cool.
Melt chocolate for a minute in the microwave; add the oil; stir until combined. Spread over the top of the cream cheese layer.
