Use store bought frozen breadsticks to make easy and delicious ones much like the restaurant's. Serve with a copycat Olive Garden salad.
store bought bag of frozen breadsticks
3 T. unsalted butter, melted
1⁄2 t. kosher salt
1⁄8-1⁄4 t. garlic powder
1 pinch dried oregano
Brush breadsticks with 1 1/2 tablespoons butter; sprinkle with 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt.
Bake the breadsticks as directed on the package.
While breadsticks are baking, combine the remaining 1/4 teaspoon salt with the garlic powder and oregano.
When the breadsticks are done, remove them from the oven and immediately brush them with the remaining 1 1/2 tablespoons melted butter and sprinkle with the flavored salt.
Serve immediately. Keep wrapped in foil or a towel to keep them warm.
Makes enough to brush on about 16 breadsticks.
