Description
Potato chips and ground beef together in a casserole? Why not? It's worth trying, right? Serve with more chips or along with tortilla chips.
Ingredients
- 1 family size bag potato chips, any flavor, slightly crushed
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 – 2 t. chili powder
- 1 c. salsa
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 can cream of chicken or mushroom soup or your choice
- 2 c. shredded cheese, your favorite
- flour tortillas, if desired
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 2 quart, 9 x 9 inch or 8 x 8 inch casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray.
- Place salsa in a collander and drain while preparing beef.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with onion and garlic. Drain and discard grease. Add chili powder. Stir; remove from heat.
