Make this candy for your next get-together or make it for little gifts during the holiday season. If you don't want it to be blue, you can make it any color you choose!
½ c. water
¾ c. light corn syrup
2 c. sugar
2 t. flavoring extract
blue food coloring, added to your desired color
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and then spray it with non-stick cooking spray.
Mix all ingredients together; place in a medium saucepan over heat; stir until boiling.
Once liquid begins to boil, do not stir until finished. Once boiling, place candy thermometer in liquid and monitor closely. When liquid reaches 300 degrees, take off heat; set aside.
Cool until the bubbles quit breaking at the surface of the liquid.
Pour liquid onto the foil lined baking sheet.
Cool until fully hardened, then break apart to the desired size.
