Tired of water, but still want to quench your thirst? Don't drink soda pop or heavily sugared drinks and juices. Instead, try this flavored water. It is much healthier for you.
2 c. fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced plus more for garnish, if desired
1½ c. cold water
freshly squeezed juice from 1 lime plus another lime for garnish, if desired
3 T. honey or sugar, optional
Combine strawberries and water in a blender. Blend until the mixture is liquified.
Strain the strawberry mixture over a pitcher; discard the solids.
Squeeze the juice of one lime into pitcher; stir. Add in sugar or honey if you prefer a sweeter drink; stir.
Chill until ready to serve.
Garnish with fresh strawberries and/or sliced lime.
