Stumped at what to serve at your next gathering? If looking for a dessert type dish, here is a great one for a buffet style get together. It tastes like a peanut butter cheesecake.
Ingredients
- 1/4 c. peanut butter
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 2 c. powdered sugar
- 3/4 t. pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 c. mini-chocolate chips
Steps
- Bring both the cream cheese and peanut butter to room temperature to a stirable consistency; mix with a spoon in a deep bowl, adding the powdered sugar gradually. Add in vanilla, and mix until a smooth and even consistency is reached.
- Spoon onto a large sheet of plastic wrap, then bring the sides up and twist very tightly to form a ball shape.
- Freeze in the coldest part of the freezer for 2-3 hours or until firm enough that the plastic wrap can be removed without the ball falling apart.
