Pumpkin Crunch Cake

Description

This makes a great fall or Thanksgiving dessert. It's simple and wonderfully delicious. Garnish with whipped cream right before serving.

Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix
16 oz. can pumpkin
12 oz. can evaporated milk
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 t. pumpkin pie spice
1/2 t. salt
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. melted butter
whipped topping, for garnish

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray the bottom of a 9 X 13 inch pan with non-stick cooking spray.

Combine and stir pumpkin, evaporated milk, eggs, sugar, pumpkin pie spice and salt in bowl; pour it into the prepared pan.

Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the pumpkin mixture. Sprinkle chopped pecans and walnuts over the cake mix. Drizzle melted butter evenly over the top.

Bake 55 minutes or until top is turning golden brown.

Garnish individual slices with whipped topping. Serve.
