Description
This makes a great fall or Thanksgiving dessert. It's simple and wonderfully delicious. Garnish with whipped cream right before serving.
Ingredients
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 16 oz. can pumpkin
- 12 oz. can evaporated milk
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 4 t. pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
- 1 c. melted butter
- whipped topping, for garnish
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray the bottom of a 9 X 13 inch pan with non-stick cooking spray.
- Combine and stir pumpkin, evaporated milk, eggs, sugar, pumpkin pie spice and salt in bowl; pour it into the prepared pan.
- Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the pumpkin mixture. Sprinkle chopped pecans and walnuts over the cake mix. Drizzle melted butter evenly over the top.
