If you live near a Krystal Burger, you are in luck! Make your dressing for that special dinner with a secret ingredient, Krystal burgers! It won't be so secret anymore.
20 Krystal steamers burgers, no pickles
2 1/4 c. diced celery
1 small onion, diced
2 1/4 t. thyme
2 1/4 t. sage
2 1/4 t. pepper
1 t. kosher salt
1/4-3/4 c. chicken broth
Put Krystal burgers in the refrigerator and cool overnight.
When ready to prepare, preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a 9 x 13 inch casserole dish, tear the Krsytals into 6 pieces, discarding the pickle from each. Add chopped celery and onions, thyme, sage, pepper and salt. Mix. Add chicken broth; stir until everything is moist. Add a little more stock, only if needed.
Cover with aluminum foil; bake 45 minutes.
Remove foil; bake an additional 15 minutes or until the top is crispy. Serve warm.
